IceCycle Retro
IceCycle Retro inexpensively retrofits our thermal storage controller to your existing outside HVAC unit equipment. Like all IceCycle systems, it requires no changes within the building, making installation quick, easy and inexpensive. IceCycle Retro works with all unitary rooftop package equipment or split-system condensing units.
- Works with any refrigerant-based unitary HVAC equipment (split systems, package rooftop units)
- Shifts 90 to 95% of HVAC energy consumption to off-peak
- Saves up to 20% of HVAC energy consumption
- Shifts auxiliary loads such as water heaters and fountains to off-peak through IceCycle's "Smart Controller"
- Allows HVAC system to operate as if the IceCycle system was not there (conventional mode)
